As mentioned before some of us use our laptops while in bed, this practice is actually Really Bad for laptops because you inadvertently block the Air-Intake holes that are located on the bottom of most laptops. If the intake holes are Blocked too often or for too long, the laptop will Over-Heat and shutdown. This is actually a Very Common problem with laptops because most owners like to use their laptops in bed. I'm afraid their is No Simple Fix for this problem, sometimes the Over-Heating can cause Irreparable Damage to the motherboard that can only be fixed by replacing the Whole Motherboard. It's a good idea to buy Laptop Cooler or Lap-Desk for when using your laptop in bed to prevent this from happening to you, but if it does happen I can fix the problem, but this can turn into one of the Most Expensive fixes on this list unfortunately.
Laptop Batteries are fickle things and some can last for many years, while others only last for a couple years or sometimes less. If you suspect that your battery is not Working Properly I can run a Diagnostic on the battery for you and see if the battery needs replacing.

The truth is many things can go wrong on a MOBO that most people wouldn't know where to begin with diagnosing or repairing. Many systems today can run many versions of a Processor and Upgrading to the best processor for your system makes any computer user feel good. Stress Testing/Burning-In a new CPU (Central Processing Unit) is very important to insure the Processor won't quit on you after the Warranty runs out. I have Specialized Burn-in/Stress Testing Software to test the processor for any Faults by running it at a Full Load for a specific amount of time. Back in the earlier days of computers, 80's - 90's processor companies would perform these tests themselves to insure that every processor that went out performed as advertised. Today the Benchmarking/Burning-In of a new processor is performed by either you the consumer, Bench-Technician (that would be where I come in), or your Computers manufacturer. If the processor survives Stress Testing/Burning-In it will perform at 100% for many years to come.
